Hiringa Sundown Project Trust
The project is being undertaken by a joint venture between Hiringa Energy and Sundown Pastoral, named the Hiringa Sundown Project Trust (‘HSPT’).
HSPT is working to plan, design, deliver and operate the
Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Project (‘GEGHA’ or ‘Project’).
Sundown Pastoral Company (ABN 86 000 334 190 ‘Sundown’) is a privately owned Australian agricultural and pastoral company that has developed a leading reputation for innovative farming techniques, sustainable agricultural production methods and environmental stewardship since establishment in 1964.
Over the last 55 years Sundown has amassed an agricultural property portfolio consisting of 260,000 acres of highly productive and fertile land shared between seven holdings, situated across two States.
Sundown runs an integrated on-site ginning at its Keytah property in northern NSW, one of the largest cotton producing properties in Australia spanning 65,000 acres and producing up to 78,000 bales a year.
Sundown is pursuing a long-term sustainability program including transitioning electricity supply to renewables and introducing / validating farming methods to improve soil carbon.

Hiringa Energy is a privately owned company formed to decarbonise some the world's hardest to abate sectors such as heavy transport and industrial processes.
Hiringa's vision is that low-carbon hydrogen produced from renewable energy will enable sustainable, thriving communities and businesses that are internationally competitive.
The Hiringa team are hydrogen experts. Since 2016, Hiringa has been developing green hydrogen production projects to supply industry, agriculture and transport, including industrial scale wind to hydrogen and ammonia production. Hiringa is also building a nationwide hydrogen refuelling network for heavy transport in New Zealand.
Hiringa brings a unique mix of in-house expertise including large scale energy and infrastructure development, and project engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) for major projects.
Hiringa is also developing a high capacity green hydrogen refuelling network throughout Australia, with an initial focus on key east coast routes.
